What is the Pumpkin Roll?
The Pumpkin Roll is a derby-style race in which participants 13 and under can compete in heats for the title of the fastest Pumpkin Racer. There are 54 slots for racers to compete and the entries are slotted on a first come, first serve basis. The races will take place on the sloping driveway the begins right at the foot of the Warner Circle Mansion with a ramp to launch the racers.
How does it work?
Participants can either bring a decorated pumpkin from home or purchase one on-site at the Pumpkin Rock N’ Roll. Racers will be split into different heats to compete against one another, with a final race at the end of the event to determine the Pumpkin Roll Champion. Decorated pumpkins will be secured into derby racers and launched down the driveway with a referee at the finish line to determine the winning pumpkin.
